Every euro needs a visible job.

Oldenburg is investing heavily while facing deficit pressure. We want spending reviewed, follow-up costs shown and priorities made public.

Oldenburg remains capable of acting, but fiscal room is not unlimited. High investments, rising social and education costs, municipal companies and major projects require more than budget PDFs. We do not want blanket austerity. We want a city that explains what is necessary, what can wait, which follow-up costs arise and which projects need steering. ## Our budget review - public budget dashboard with revenues, spending, investments, grants, reserves and debt - project traffic lights for major projects: costs, timeline, risks, decisions, responsible offices - dashboard for municipal companies, public enterprises and grants - review of ongoing contracts and procurement for cost, benefit, privacy, sustainability and open standards - understandable summaries for people who cannot read long financial documents - a citizens' budget for smaller district projects with traceable voting Our priorities are services that improve everyday life: education, care, housing, functioning administration, accessibility, climate resilience, safe routes and reliable social infrastructure.
