Help win the mayoral election and bring Pirates into Oldenburg's city council: as a member, supporter, topic lead, campaign helper, researcher or candidate.
You do not need to be a politics professional to change Oldenburg. You can start small: subscribe to the newsletter, come to a meeting, check a source, release a photo, help at an information booth or become a member. We need people who make responsibility visible. Especially for the 2026 local election, we are looking for support for the mayoral campaign, council list, neighbourhood conversations, topic work and membership building. ## Concrete tasks - **Become a member:** help decide the programme, candidates and actions. - **Campaign:** organise information booths, doorstep talks, posters, flyers, neighbourhood meetings and feedback. - **Research:** collect council information, budget figures, stadium documents, mobility data and decisions in a traceable way. - **Editorial:** explain topics, check sources, proofread articles and maintain English summaries. - **Technology:** test the website, check accessibility, design dashboards and evaluate open data. - **Photos and media:** prepare approved images, short videos, alt text and credits. - **Run for office:** take responsibility for council, districts or the mayor's office if you share the values. You decide how much time you can invest. What matters is that tasks are visible, doable and well documented. ## First step Write briefly what interests you, roughly how much time you have and whether you prefer to be visible in the campaign or help in the background.
